We are seeking dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associates to join our non-processing team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position working with metal products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Job Description:
Package metal bars according to customer orders.
Work as part of a team to break open metal bundles and pull the required number of bars.
Operate shrink-wrap equipment to prepare orders for shipment.
Sort and stage completed orders for delivery.
Load and unload trucks.
Organize warehouse inventory and restock materials.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Utilize saws and measuring devices for proper cutting of metal.
Read and use rulers, calipers, and micrometers accurately.
Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly (continuous lifting of approximately 60 lbs.).
Material handling and packaging experience preferred.
Basic computer skills required.
Experience using calipers and micrometers preferred.
Forklift and/or standing side loader experience is a plus.
