Warehouse Associate (1st Shift)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Must be open to moving to 2nd shift upon conversion to Full-Time Employee)

Dress Code: Business casual (shorts are acceptable), must be presentable as customers occasionally visit the warehouse. Required PPE: Steel-toe shoes or boots.

About the Role:

The primary involves accurately picking and packing customer orders, receiving and stocking incoming materials, operating material handling and forklift equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace throughout the warehouse and yard. To succeed in this position, candidates must possess a strong and eager work ethic with a genuine willingness to learn, the physical capability to handle warehouse demands such as standing, bending, and lifting, required steel-toe shoes or boots, and the flexibility to transition to the 2nd shift upon permanent conversion.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a timely manner.
• Receive, verify, and stock incoming materials into appropriate locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Operate material handling and forklift equipment as needed to support daily operations.
• Perform general warehouse tasks and assist the team with various logistical duties.

This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period, but these may become available upon conversion to a permanent role.

What We're Looking For

• Stable Work History: Proven track record of stable tenure with previous employers (candidates must have 2+ years per role; job hoppers will not be considered)
• Physical Requirements: Capability to perform regular manual lifting, loading, and unloading tasks
• Schedule: Open to moving to the 2nd shift upon conversion to full-time status
• Forklift Experience: Hands-on experience operating a wide variety of forklift equipment and material handling machinery preferred
