Forge Press Operator | Verdi, NV | $18.50 - $21.00/hr DOE | Temp-to-Hire
We are seeking dependable and motivated Forge Press Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Verdi, NV. This is a hands-on production position offering full-time hours, overtime opportunities, on-the-job training, and long-term career growth.
The Forge Press Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading forged metal parts, assisting with machine setups and production changeovers, operating trim presses and related equipment, performing quality inspections, and supporting daily production goals while maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Load and unload forged metal parts from press equipment
• Assist with machine setups and production changeovers
• Operate trim presses and other manufacturing equipment as trained
• Perform visual inspections and basic measurements to ensure product quality
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work effectively with team members to meet production goals
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
Qualifications:
• Manufacturing, production, warehouse, construction, or industrial experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment and processes
• Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working around machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and movement
• Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment
