Dunlop Tires North America, Inc. is looking for motivated, dependable, and safety-focused Warehouse Associates to join our growing distribution center team in Joliet, Illinois. This position plays a critical role in ensuring tires are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Receive incoming inventory and place products in the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Process shipments utilizing UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
• Verify product quantities as picked.
• Perform forklift pre-shift inspections and complete required safety checklists.
• Assist with maintaining inventory organization and product flow throughout the warehouse.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with additional warehouse and clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution center experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required (sit-down) 1-2 years.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills and professional attitude.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

WORK EXPERIENCE: One to two (1 - 2) years experience in a warehouse environment.

ACADEMIC/TRAINING: A High School diploma or equivalent.

SKILLS: Must be forklift certified and able to operate material handling equipment, i.e., forklift, sit down and stand up. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Be able to read, write and speak English, with basic mathematical skills. Must have the ability to reason logically, use common sense, and resolve issues independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of this position require waling, standing, sitting, hearing, seeing, moving, driving, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is typical of a warehouse, with forklifts moving, truck being loaded and unloaded, using propane and electricity, with a strong smell of tires. The environment has uncontrolled air.
