U.S. LUMBER, an SBP brand is currently looking for a 2nd shift (3pm-12a, Mon -Fri) Warehouse Associate to join our Duncan, SC U.S. Lumber facility. U.S. Lumber is a VALUES based organization. Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Safely operate forklifts or other machinery (chainsaw) in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material. Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
  • Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors.
  • Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in order to complete required workload.
  • Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
  • Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
  • Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products.
  • Must learn how to use a chainsaw and Holtec Industrial Saw.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure. Accurately pull daily orders.
  • Prefer Bilingual speaking candidates (Spanish and English)

Required credentials:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
  • Prior lumber experience desired.
  • Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
  • Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.
  • Must have basic math and analytical skills.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00/Hr. based on experience.

Must be able to work Mon - Fri, 3pm -12a.
