Warehouse Associate 2nd Shift
Shift: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
Work Location: Westfield, IN 46074
Duration: 12 Months


Main Purpose of the Role

Working under general supervision, this role is actively involved in material movement within a warehouse environment. Duties may include loading and unloading trailers, processing receiving and put-away, cycle counting, de-crating, and picking KTE carts. This role may involve the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and stretch wrappers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Understands material movement and inventory levels, and completes timely processing of assigned tasks.
  • Performs material movements both physically and systematically within a controlled environment where ESD controls may exist.
  • Processes stock transfers, material requests, and put-away; loads and/or unloads trucks as required.
  • May operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, with appropriate training and/or certification.
  • May assist in training associates through on-the-job training.
  • Understands and uses the ERP system for material management activities; applies root cause analysis to research material movement discrepancies and resolve them.
  • Performs cycle counting.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse material flow systems and procedures.
  • Identifies efficiency gaps in systems and processes and raises awareness with management.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communication and collaboration; promotes a positive work environment.
  • Participates in on-the-job training covering warehouse and manufacturing processes, corporate policies, safety procedures, GMP, and ISO standards, as defined by the supervisor.
  • Adheres to all environmental, health, and safety SOPs, equipment policies, and procedures, including any department-specific requirements; may serve on safety, quality, or other committees as applicable.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, and Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
