Warehouse Associate
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing fasteners and related products for shipment. This position requires attention to detail to ensure orders are completed accurately and inventory is properly maintained.
Pay Rate
$19.00 per hour – All Shifts
Shift & Schedule
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Saturdays may be required based on production and business needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets and/or the warehouse inventory system.
- Verify part numbers and quantities while picking orders.
- Pack, label, and prepare fasteners and related components for shipment.
- Receive incoming products and verify quantities against packing slips and receiving documentation.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Put away incoming materials in assigned warehouse locations.
- Stage completed orders for shipment or customer delivery.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, labels, and product identification.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions and warehouse records.
- Operate pallet jacks and other approved material-handling equipment.
- Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or nonconforming products.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work areas.
- Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Assist other warehouse team members as needed to meet daily shipping and receiving requirements.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, picking/packing, or inventory experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately read part numbers, labels, pick tickets, and shipping documentation.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and ability to maintain a consistent work pace.
- Basic computer or warehouse inventory system experience preferred.
- Material-handling equipment experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely handle boxes, containers, and bulk quantities of fasteners and related products.
Dress Code
- Closed-toe shoes are required.
- Jeans must be free of holes and tears.
- Appropriate T-shirts are permitted.
- Clothing must be suitable for a professional and safe warehouse environment.
Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse environment and involves regular movement throughout the facility. Associates may work in shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, inventory, or other warehouse areas depending on daily operational needs.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Because many products may appear similar, accuracy when reading part numbers, counting quantities, and selecting inventory is especially important.
