Jetpack Shipping is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Akron, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations through shipping, receiving, inventory control, material transfers, and order preparation.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, understand warehouse safety procedures, and can effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of recent warehouse experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, and cycle counting preferred
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or order pickers preferred
- Basic computer and data entry skills required
- Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety conscious
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, and stage materials for outbound shipping
- Receive, inspect, document, and unload inbound deliveries
- Label incoming inventory and submit required quality control samples
- Transfer, organize, and store materials in assigned warehouse locations
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits using barcode scanners and inventory software
- Report damaged, impaired, short, or excess inventory immediately
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Assist with cross-functional warehouse tasks as needed to support operations
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in warehouse conditions including temperature changes, noise, and industrial environments
