The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by performing all physical tasks related to receiving, inspection, tagging, storage, and distribution of products. This role also utilizes computer systems to support inventory tracking, order processing, communication, and documentation.
Warehouse Associates are expected to perform all essential functions, including delivery-related duties such as staging, loading, and coverage for the Delivery Assistant as operational needs require.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving & Inspection
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips and invoices
- Inspect each item thoroughly upon receipt and report any damage or discrepancies'
- Electronically receive orders into the system and print tags as needed
- Assist in processing returns or corrections and report issues to supervisor
Product Handling & Tagging
- Tag items appropriately and prepare for store delivery
- Assemble basic product components according to company standards
- Package goods appropriately for safe shipping or storage
Order Fulfillment & Staging
- Pick, pack, and label orders accurately and efficiently
- Stage completed orders for next-day delivery or third-party carrier pickup
- Coordinate with team leads and drivers to ensure orders are ready and accounted for
Inventory & Organization
- Maintain organized storage areas; keep like items together and follow proper labeling practice
- Use inventory software to track item locations and quantities
- Conduct routine inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies
Delivery Support
- Stage and load delivery vehicles safely
- Assist with in-home deliveries as needed, maintaining professional conduct in customer homes
- Fill in for Delivery Assistant when absent
- Complete required delivery documentation including photos and order status updates
- Maintain delivery vehicles and reusable packing materials
Warehouse Upkeep & Safety
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and compliant with safety standards
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and use equipment properly
- Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or damaged equipment immediately to a supervisor
Technology & Documentation
- Use computers or handheld devices for inventory management, email, digital inspections, and work orders
- Complete electronic checklists, forms, and documentation as required
- Training and support provided for those without prior computer experience
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Able to manage multiple priorities and adjust as the day evolves
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Comfortable working on ladders and in varying warehouse environments
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Takes initiative, works independently, and communicates proactively
- Professional conduct, especially in customer-facing situations
- Prior warehouse, receiving, or delivery experience is a plus - not required
