Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Stockroom Attendant to support onsite inventory operations in an office-style environment. This role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory, supporting daily material flow, and ensuring continuity of operations by providing consistent on-site coverage.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and experience working with inventory systems or material handling in controlled environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily inventory and stockroom activities, including receiving, stocking, and material handling
  • Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Process incoming receipts, return-to-stock transactions, and outgoing materials
  • Fulfill internal material requests and manage parts inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity
  • Support non-moving inventory pull and staging activities
  • Monitor and organize stockroom locations to improve efficiency
  • Provide customer-facing support for material requests in a professional manner
  • Follow all standard operating procedures for inventory control and documentation
  • Escalate material discrepancies or high-value variances as required

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory management or material handling
  • Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Teams, data entry)
  • Customer-facing experience with professional communication and presentation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of inventory processes and stockroom operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in retail, hardware, or industrial supply environments (e.g., home improvement or auto parts)
  • Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes
  • Experience working with structured inventory systems or warehouse tool
