Freight Breakers LLC is looking for reliable, energetic, and hardworking individuals to join our growing team as Box Loaders/Unloaders in West Jordan, Utah.

This is a hands-on, physically active position designed for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and take pride in working efficiently, safely, and accurately. Our performance-based pay structure allows motivated team members to increase their earning potential through productivity and consistent performance.

Position Summary

Box Loaders/Unloaders are responsible for the safe and efficient movement of packages between trailers, conveyors, and staging areas. Team members will load and unload freight, scan packages, organize shipments, and maintain a steady workflow while meeting company safety and productivity expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Loading

• Load packages by hand from conveyor systems into trailers using floor-loading techniques.
• Use handheld scanners to accurately record packages as they are loaded.
• Move package cages between staging and loading areas.
• Arrange freight securely and efficiently inside trailers.
• Maintain proper loading procedures to help prevent package damage.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and operational standards.

Unloading

• Remove packages from floor-loaded trailers and place them onto conveyor systems.
• Scan packages and sort them into the appropriate cages or designated areas.
• Maintain a consistent work pace while ensuring accuracy.
• Safely handle packages throughout the unloading and sorting process.
• Keep work areas organized and free of unnecessary hazards.

Compensation & Earning Potential

• Performance-based compensation based on trailers and/or cases processed.
• Typical earnings range from $16–$25 per hour.
• High-performing team members may earn $25–$35 per hour.
• Greater efficiency and productivity can result in higher earnings.

Weekend Shift Options

Weekend Day Shift

• Friday – Sunday
• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 12-hour shifts
• Additional weekday hours may be available based on operational needs.

Weekend Night Shift

• Friday – Sunday
• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 12-hour shifts
• Additional weekday hours may be available based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and move packages weighing 5–50 lbs.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods.
• Able to work efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace is required.
• Must be willing and able to work the assigned weekend shift.
