Warehouse Associate

$18/hour
Hours:
8:00am – 4:30pm (Mon – Fri)

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team on a temp to hire basis in Burr Ridge.

Duties:
• Un-assembling and assembling wheelchair upholstery & components
• Install wheelchair accessories
• Palletize orders for shipment
• Organize and process documentation for LTL shipments
• Schedule LTL shipments
• Load and unload vehicles
• Utilize material handling equipment such as hand truck, platform truck, pallet jack and cherry
picker (Wave) while following all safety rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness
• Once hired, employee will make deliveries in the Chicagoland area using vans and box truck
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Must have valid driver’s license
1+ years previous warehouse experience preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills
Able to read, write and speak English
Computer skills required
Knowledge of creating & scheduling LTL shipment preferred
Knowledge of material handling equipment
Basic hand & power tools experience (screwdriver, drills, etc.)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented
Willingness to learn
Physical Demand:
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs
• Stand for 8+ hours
