We are currently hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team at an established provider of specialty paper, film, and ink products in Cerritos. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our operations by handling various warehouse-related tasks. Here are the key responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving: Timely and accurate processing of inbound inventory, including put away, stock rotation, and cycle counting.
Outbound Orders: Process outbound orders using existing procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely shipment through the WYSIS scan gun and starship systems.
Quality Assurance: Double-check all orders before shipping to minimize errors.
Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate delivery and address any issues promptly.
Paperwork: Complete and verify all shipping paperwork meticulously.
Inbound Shipments: Monitor and process incoming shipments efficiently.
Workload Management: Keep track of pick and pack locations and notify operations management of any necessary changes.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred; some college or continuing education is a strong plus.
Previous warehouse and logistics experience is essential.
Proficiency in operating a Forklift.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
Working Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm, with 1 hour lunch
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
