Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day movement, storage, and accuracy of materials and finished goods within Gummi World’s manufacturing facility. Working primarily on second shift, this individual plays a key role in keeping production supplied and shipments flowing accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to working safely in a GMP-compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations

  • Receive, inspect, and put away incoming raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods per SOPs and Gummi World procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping accurately and on time.
  • Verify all receivables for authorization, quantity, and quality before acceptance.
  • Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of warehouse storage areas.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Inventory Control

  • Assist with cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
  • Report and escalate inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Accurately record transactions in the inventory management system.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
  • Identify and report safety hazards immediately; support corrective actions.
  • Store raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods in designated areas per food safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with 5S and GMP standards.

Team & Communication

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve material flow issues.
  • Communicate shift updates and material status to the Warehouse Supervisor and incoming shift.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus but not required.
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse, receiving, or logistics experience preferred; entry-level candidates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in a nutraceutical, food, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory management software or WMS is helpful.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on second shift.
  • Basic understanding of GMP, HACCP, and FDA warehouse requirements is a plus.
  • Familiarity with lean or 5S principles is advantageous.
Equipment
  • Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, scissor lift, stretch wrapper, and other standard warehouse equipment.
  • Forklift certification is preferred; training available for qualified candidates.
Physical Requirements

  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Stand and walk for the duration of a full shift
