Job Description
The Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Associate reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and plays a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving inbound freight, processing and shipping outbound orders, performing light assembly, and maintaining accurate inventory in a clean and organized warehouse environment. You will work with bar code scanners, computer systems, and material handling equipment while meeting clear productivity metrics and safety standards.

Work Environment
This role is based in a brand-new warehouse facility that is not climate controlled, with large ceiling fans circulating airflow to help maintain comfort throughout the day. The environment is active and fast-paced, with employees frequently moving around the warehouse, working on packing lines and at standing desk workstations to verify order accuracy. You will regularly use bar code scanners, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, scales, and basic hand tools as part of daily operations. Clear metrics and goals are posted on whiteboards to guide performance and provide transparency. The facility includes a cantina with complimentary beverages and paid snack options, which are scanned to support accurate restocking. The dress code is typical for a warehouse setting, emphasizing practical, safety-conscious attire suitable for lifting, operating equipment, and working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
