Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate performs daily distribution center functions, including receiving, secure storage, staging, and accurate outbound shipping. This position ensures all workflow tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and in adherence to company operational policies and standard operating procedures.
General Accountabilities
- Execute end-to-end inbound and outbound warehouse processes.
- Verify manifest details, unpack incoming materials, and place assets into designated inventory locations swiftly.
- Build, wrap, and secure cargo pallets to minimize transit-related damage and ensure safe shipment of products.
- Execute real-time inventory transactions. Accurately register goods receipts, internal stock transfers, quantity adjustments, and shipping verification records.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to record inventory counts, maintain shipping logs, and update internal data sheets with high precision. Ensure tracking logs are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
- Safely operate forklifts.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, is required.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Sit-down forklift experience required; stand-up forklift experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for maintaining inventory records and shipping/receiving log.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday.
