**$22.04** **Mon-Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm - OT as needed** **SUMMARY** Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES** The ideal Candidate will have the ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker; ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift, ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time; ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements; and ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick devices. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES** + Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure. + Load Merchandise into appropriate truck. + Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots. + Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines. + Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery. + Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy. + Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, "Preferred Method Standard". + Identify and report slot and put-away problems. + Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed. + Performs house keeping duties as assigned. + Perform other duties as assigned.? **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education** + Preferred qualifications are: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous knowledge of SAP, one year warehouse experience and previous forklift certification. **Experience** + 6 months of previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred. + Material handling equipment experience preferred. + Reach truck experience a plus. **Requirement** + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Must pass a functional capacity test. **Work Environment** The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. + Job is performed in a warehouse/operations environment. + Frequently exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment. + This is a full-time position. + Must have the ability to work a varying schedule which might include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays. + Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements. + The position does not require travel.
