Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver (Howard S. Wright)

General DescriptionHoward S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty Company is looking for a Warehouse Associate/ Delivery Driver to support their Oregon operation. This role supports delivery and disbursement of tools and equipment to jobsites. Reports to the Warehouse Manager.Duties and Responsibilities

Organize, coordinate, and deliver requested materials, tools, and equipmentSafely load, transport, deliver, and pick-up materials and equipment from project job sites.Pull, stage, and verify inventory for scheduled deliveries and pick-ups.Receive returned materials and equipment, staging items for Green Tag / Red Tag inspection.Assist with receiving, organizing, stocking, and maintaining warehouse inventory.Maintain accurate delivery, pick-up, and inventory documentation.Keep warehouse, staging, and loading areas clean, organized, and safe.Perform routine inspections and basic care of company vehicles and delivery equipment.Work closely with warehouse and project teams to ensure materials are delivered accurately and on schedule.Keep accurate and timely records of all repairs and maintenanceFacilitate scheduling of company vehicles for servicingFollow all safety requirements for Balfour Beatty EquipmentMaintain a high level of professionalism and customer serviceUse of computer and programs as the position requires (ERP, Excel, MS Office, etc.)Construction experience preferred, but not required

Job Requirements

High school diploma preferred and on-the-job training required. This position requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years experience to do the essential functions and demonstrate proficiency with little supervision and little direction and is expected to make some decisions.Requires a valid OR state driver's licenseWorks within the standards of accuracy designated by the project.Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.Can speak English.Preferred 10-hour OSHA trained.Preferred CDL or willing to obtain a CDL.Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.Must be able to write with proper format, punctuation, spelling and grammar.Must be able to read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of truck, tools and equipment, and methods and procedures.Follows oral and written instructions, solve practical problems.Writes with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar.Understands safety rules and tool / equipment instructions.

The base compensation range for the role posted above is $40,000- $60,000 annually.
