Warehouse Associate - Document Shredder

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Monday to Friday, 9-hour shifts (includes 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks)

About the Role:

You will support secure materials destruction operations by safely moving, loading, and processing materials through shredding and granulation equipment. This role is physically active and requires consistent attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency while working independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

What You'll Do:

• Roll and transport wheeled bins of varying sizes to paper shredders or granulators
• Secure bins onto automated electric lift platforms and activate lift mechanisms for emptying
• Remove empty bins and return them to designated areas
• Push and maneuver bins weighing up to 350 lbs in shredding areas and up to 525 lbs in granulator areas
• Lift and carry boxes of electronic media and place materials into granulators as needed
• Unload boxes from pallets and empty contents weighing up to 50 lbs
• Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and follow all safety procedures
• Wear required PPE and comply with all facility safety requirements

Employment Terms: This position is a temporary/contract engagement through RightStone. Standard corporate health benefits, retirement plans, and paid time off are not provided during the contract duration.

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
• Ability to safely grip, push, pull, and maneuver wheeled bins independently
• Ability to lift and empty boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures
• Willingness to comply with all safety and dress code requirements

Dress Code:

• Attire must be presentable and appropriate for the working environment
• Protective footwear is required and must meet ASTM F2413-11 standards for safety toe caps and have a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or "Best"
• Safety gear, including high-visibility vest and safety glasses, will be provided and must be worn at all times
