Location: Edison, NJ

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and shipping procedures
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and work instructions

Experience Requirements

  • Previous warehouse and forklift experience required
  • Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and/or reach trucks
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
  • Familiarity with Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and freight documentation
  • Experience with inventory control, staging, and freight handling
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Load and unload trucks and containers using forklift equipment
  • Sort freight by destination, SKU, and customer requirements
  • Break down and rebuild pallets for staging and outbound shipments
  • Stage freight in designated lanes for pickup and delivery
  • Move and locate materials throughout warehouse and racking areas
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, shortages, and accuracy
  • Assist with outbound preparation and shipping activities
  • Support inventory counts and location audits
  • Maintain clean and organized dock, staging, and warehouse areas
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and basic equipment checks
  • Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures at all times

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.

What You Will Do

As a Warehouse Associate you will receive, pick, pack, sort, stage, load, unload, and organize products throughout warehouse operations. You will verify inventory, prepare shipments, maintain accurate product locations, support order fulfillment, assist with inventory counts, and help ensure efficient warehouse operations while following established safety procedures.

A Warehouse Associate helps maintain efficient warehouse operations by supporting inventory movement, customer orders, and shipping activities. This role requires physical stamina, organization, and a commitment to maintaining accurate warehouse processes.

The Warehouse Associate combines material handling, inventory management, and order fulfillment skills to support productive warehouse operations while maintaining workplace safety and quality standards.

This profession is well suited for individuals who enjoy active warehouse work and teamwork.
