Warehouse Associate

Midway Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate to support daily receiving, inventory, shipping, and order-fulfillment operations.

POSITION DETAILS

• Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour, based on experience
• Employment Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: Must be flexible to work varying hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Environment: Ambient warehouse and temperature-controlled areas of approximately 55°ree;F

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness
• Verify product numbers, lot numbers, descriptions, quantities, weights, and warehouse locations
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse areas
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Process outgoing shipments and prepare shipping documentation
• Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damage or quality concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all warehouse, safety, security, and quality procedures
• Communicate inventory and order-status updates to supervisors and team members

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience is preferred
• Forklift and pallet-jack experience is preferred
• Ability to read and accurately verify product and shipping information
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with different departments
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift and move bags or products weighing approximately 55 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, push, pull, and climb on and off equipment throughout the shift
