Job Description

The Warehouse Associate supports the day-to-day operations of the warehouse for an industrial contracting company. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing materials, tools, and equipment to support field operations, ensuring thatprojects have what they need, when they need it. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Pick, stage, and load materials for delivery to job sites.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Assist with basic maintenance and inspections of warehouse equipment.
  • Communicate with project managers, foremen, and vendors to coordinate materials.
  • Support logistics planning for special projects or urgent needs.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
Required Skills

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of warehouse, logistics, or construction materials experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
  • Familiarity with basic computer systems or inventory software.
  • Valid driver's license; forklift certification a plus.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Environment
  • Indoor and outdoor warehouse settings; may be exposed to varying weather conditions.
  • Fast-paced environment with deadlines tied to project schedules.
