Warehouse Associate [FLO FLC]

Maersk Ground Freight is hiring a skilled and safety-minded Warehouse Agent / Forklift Operator to support our San Diego warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, staging, sorting, and loading freight accurately and efficiently — all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care. This is a critical position that keeps our freight flowing and our customers happy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move freight within the warehouse.

• Receive, inspect, and document inbound freight for accuracy and damage; report discrepancies immediately.

• Stage and organize outbound freight by route, destination, or customer for efficient loading.

• Load and unload trailers, containers, and straight trucks in accordance with weight distribution and safety standards.

• Scan all freight using handheld devices and update the WMS/TMS systems accurately.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.

• Follow all OSHA and Maersk safety protocols including PPE requirements.

• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and freight reconciliation as directed.
