Overview
IKEA is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate and Forklift Driver to support inventory, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and order fulfillment operations.
Job Description
Receive and ship inbound and outbound freight.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Replenish merchandise in self-service and sales-floor areas.
Select customer orders quickly, safely, and accurately.
Use inventory-management technology while following established procedures.
Operate forklifts, powered pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Operate a cardboard baler.
Follow all safety and security standards.
Lift, move, and handle warehouse products throughout the shift.
Required Skills
At least two years of warehouse, logistics, or similar experience.
Forklift or powered material-handling equipment experience.
Current certification or ability to obtain certification on at least one type of powered mobile equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift.
Strong attention to safety and inventory accuracy.
Dress Code
Steel-toe boots are required.
Bottoms must be denim or woven material.
Shorts must be knee-length or longer.
Tank tops, sleeveless shirts, low-cut tops, pajama bottoms, yoga pants, spandex, sweatpants, and basketball shorts are not permitted.
Clothing may not display inappropriate or unprofessional logos or phrases.
