Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator
Location: Atlanta, GA
Starting Pay: $20 per hour, Mon-Fri 7AM-11AM
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator who excels in operating a forklift and brings strong warehouse management and inventory control skills. In this role, you will help manage IT assets end-to-end, maintain accurate inventory records, and follow strict data sanitization and destruction procedures.
Responsibilities
Operate a forklift to move materials, unload trucks, stage pallets, and support efficient warehouse flow.
Receive, sort, and route IT assets based on technical relevance and internal components.
Capture device and shipment details and upload required information into the inventory management system.
Execute data wiping procedures using Blanco software, following established work instructions.
Follow strict data sanitization and destruction procedures in compliance with applicable regulations and site standards.
Maintain accurate inventory records, including location tracking, counts, and exception reporting.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and audit-ready (5S mindset).
Communicate clearly with teammates and leads to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing workloads.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably supporting IT asset management or electronics handling.
Proficiency operating a Raymond Standup Pacer forklift and a sit-down forklift.
Basic knowledge of office and enterprise-grade IT equipment.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Essential Functions
Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout an 8 to 10 hour shift.
Frequently moves material in the warehouse weighing up to 50 pounds.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the warehouse and office to access cargo shipments and airwaybills.
Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with team members and leadership.
Must be able to detect, determine, and identify asset labels, device identifiers, and documentation details.
Work Environment
Warehouse facility in a climate-controlled environment.
Work near others and often share the same workspace.
Exposure to warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks on a daily basis.
Occasionally exposed to sounds and noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 7am-11am
Overtime may be available based on operational needs.
