Start your new career as a Forklift Operator with MAU at our client in Jeffersonville, IN. As a Forklift Operator, you will support barrel processing and warehouse operations by ensuring safe equipment operation, maintaining quality standards, and helping the team meet daily production goals.

What We Offer:

  • $20.00 per hour (1st shift)
  • $21.00 per hour (2nd shift)
  • 12-hour rotating schedule
  • 1st Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM
  • 2-2-3-2 rotating schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off)
  • Temp-to-hire opportunity after 520 hours

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma/GED is required
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow safety procedures, SOPs, and operational guidelines
  • Preferred: 2+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience

What You'll Do as a Forklift Operator:

  • Follow and promote all safety requirements related to barrel processing and warehouse operations
  • Safely operate equipment and industrial vehicles
  • Report safety concerns, accidents, and near misses immediately
  • Participate in safety inspections and accident investigations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work environment
  • Ensure daily production goals are met while following safety, quality, regulatory, food safety, and environmental standards
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies
  • Perform quality inspections, equipment operation, cleaning, and plant maintenance
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost control
  • Contribute ideas to improve daily operations and departmental KPIs
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
  • Work with leadership to develop skills and improve performance
  • Maintain professional relationships and contribute to a positive team environment
