A leading independent warehouse storage solutions company is seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team.
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting the warehouse team in handling inbound and outbound orders, sorting and organizing material inside the warehouse and outside in the yard, assisting in light fabrication work, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Work Location: Perris, CA (Must be able to work in Perris)
Training: Must be able to train for 2 weeks in Rialto, CA
Environment: Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in the yard
Forklift Requirement: Minimum 2 years of experience operating a sitdown forklift is strictly required

Know the proper receiving and shipping processes for inbound and outbound deliveries.
Assist in the manual loading and unloading of inventory from incoming or outbound trucks by hand or with the use of material handling equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack.
Verify inbound/outbound inventory and properly document it via shipping receipts and packing slips.
Sort received inventory and re-bundle into safe, proper configurations when necessary.
Accurately label inventory and bundles of material.
Relocate and organize inventory into its proper location.
Perform forklift duties, bundle and palletize loads properly, and maximize truck loads safely and efficiently.
Prepare orders for shipping, verify quantities for accuracy, and load trailers safely and efficiently.
Assist in cutting, grinding, painting, and other preparation work for fabrication.
Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment in the warehouse.
Assist in warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors and storing equipment.
Must have at least 2 years of experience operating a sitdown forklift. Certification will be required after hire.
Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff, including warehouse workers, office personnel, and management.
Complete understanding of inventory control policies and procedures.
Extremely organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
Prior warehouse material handling experience is preferred.
High school education or GED required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to drive and operate heavy equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand truck).
Must be able to navigate the warehouse/yard and reach items both high and low.
Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor warehouse environments.
Minimal travel to remote facilities, yards, and projects in California.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday (overtime as needed)
