Duration- 3-month contract to permanent Location- Geismar, LA, 70734 Shift Timings- Mon- Fri 6:00 am- 3:00 pm. Some OT
Pay Rate- $19.00/ hr.
Summary
Storeroom Warehouse Associate is an individual contributor positioned within a storeroom and/or a customer's location. This role is responsible for following established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, stock and sto re, record, and dispatch goods in a storeroom/warehouse.
Hours: Mon- Fri 6 a m- 3 p m, 1 hr unpaid lunch. OT on occasion.
Temp to hire. Pay will increase upon conversion.
Once converted, there will be an on call weekend rotation.
Will pick, pack, and get orders ready for shipment.
Will cross check picked orders.
Will use a sit-down forklift and cherry picker. Willing to train on the equipment.
Will assist with receiving.
Basic computer skills are needed.
Repetitive lifting of up to 50#.
Need someone organized with attention to detail. This is a small team that works together closely.
Site is not temperature-controlled; it can get hot in the summer.
Steel-toe shoes are required.
The client will provide any additional PPE.
