Warehouse Associate

Overview

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and put away incoming materials in designated locations
• Operate sit-down forklifts and order pickers (up to 24 feet)
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and manage warehouse transactions
• Read and follow work orders to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organized storage practices
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and compliant with operational standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent, continuous warehouse experience in a single role
• At least 1 year of sit-down forklift and order picker experience
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
• Ability to read and understand work orders and pick sheets
• Ability to lift 50 75 lbs (team lift available when needed)
• Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, twisting, standing) throughout the shift
• Stable work history with no employment gaps exceeding 3 months (unless explained)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or industrial supply environments
• Previous experience in distribution or warehouse settings with large or technical products
• Ability to quickly learn product lines and warehouse processes
