Overview

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join a dynamic, customer-facing environment. This role combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with direct customer interaction at the counter, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy both operational work and engaging with customers.
This position also offers strong growth potential, with opportunities to transition into Inside Sales or Showroom roles based on performance and development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, staging, and shipping orders
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments and maintain accurate inventory
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (training provided if needed)
  • Assist customers at the counter by:
    • Greeting customers and identifying product needs
    • Answering basic inquiries and helping locate materials
  • Review and process sales orders, work orders, and receiving documents accurately
  • Enter and manage orders in internal systems
  • Support team operations and learn multiple warehouse functions
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to contractors and trade professionals

Required Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Forklift experience (certification not required, but must be comfortable operating equipment)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to read and interpret sales orders, work orders, and receiving documents
  • Basic computer skills (email, internet navigation, willingness to learn systems)
  • Reliable, professional, and consistent attendance
  • Valid driver s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing warehouse or retail environment
  • Interest in growing into Inside Sales or Showroom roles
  • Ability to learn quickly and work across multiple functions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
