Description
Overview
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling operations in a fast-paced warehouse and yard environment. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, pulling customer orders, receiving materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy while working safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has forklift experience, a strong work ethic, and is comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the workday.
Responsibilities
Pull and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials
Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
Read and follow work orders to ensure proper order fulfillment
Move, organize, and store materials throughout the warehouse and yard
Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
Support general warehouse and material handling activities as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
Minimum 1 year of recent, consecutive warehouse experience
Ability to read and understand work orders
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, pulling, standing, and lifting throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory control, or warehouse operations
Experience working in warehouse, industrial, construction, or yard environments
Ability to quickly learn products, processes, and warehouse systems
