Job Title: Warehouse Associate- Hiring ASAP-$16-$18


Job Description


This role supports multiple warehouse departments, including receiving, inventory, packing, and shipping. You will handle equipment such as modems, routers, and cable boxes, using RF scanners and basic computer systems to ensure accurate tracking and movement of products. The position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to safety and security policies, and the ability to work efficiently in a clean, climate-controlled environment.


Responsibilities


+ Unload trailers safely and efficiently using pallet jacks or carts.

+ Receive and sort incoming equipment such as modems, routers, and cable boxes by type and condition.

+ Scan barcodes using handheld RF scanners to record and track products.

+ Accurately log product serial numbers and inventory data in the system.

+ Pack tested and approved products into boxes with appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.

+ Label packages clearly and correctly for outbound shipping.

+ Follow written work instructions and meet established production targets.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation and surrounding area.

+ Handle materials carefully to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.

+ Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and warehouse inventory checks.

+ Comply with all safety standards, security procedures, and company policies at all times.


Essential Skills


+ Previous warehouse experience in areas such as shipping, receiving, picking, packing, or order fulfillment.

+ Proficiency using handheld RF scanners for barcode scanning and inventory tracking.

+ Basic computer skills and comfort working with simple software or scanner interfaces.

+ Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including labeling and documentation.

+ Ability to operate pallet jacks safely to move materials and equipment.

+ Knowledge of inventory control practices, including cycle counts and warehouse inventory management.

+ Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate logging of serial numbers and product information.

+ Capability to perform material handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing products.

+ Reliability in following work instructions, meeting production goals, and adhering to safety standards.


Additional Skills & Qualifications


+ Experience in order picking, packing, and packaging within a warehouse environment.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving operations involving electronic equipment or similar products.

+ Familiarity with inventory control systems and warehouse inventory procedures.

+ Comfort working under structured security policies and procedures.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and highly engaged workplace.

The facility is climate controlled, very clean, and well organized, providing a comfortable and orderly setting for daily work. The dress code aligns with a strict security policy, including a "No Beep Policy" that requires you to avoid wearing items that would set off metal detectors; if something does trigger the detector, you may be sent home. Personal cell phones are not allowed on the floor, so you must be comfortable being away from your phone for extended periods. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.36 - $18.81/hr.
