EHC is looking for a Warehouse Associate for a Client in the Houston Area

Job Type: Temporary / Contract
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday)
Overtime: As Needed

Education Requirement

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience
  • Experience working in receiving operations
  • Previous forklift operating experience
  • Computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Strong attendance and punctuality record

Hiring Process

  • All interviews will be conducted in person
  • Positions are available for immediate hire

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
  • Read and interpret warehouse documentation to identify items to be moved, picked, distributed, or shipped
  • Move materials and products to designated locations
  • Enter inventory and material movement data into computer systems
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts
  • Maintain inventory records by documenting received and issued materials and reporting shortages
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and report maintenance concerns or equipment issues promptly
  • Support material availability for production and assembly operations
  • Learn and apply new processes and procedures as required
  • Perform additional duties assigned by warehouse leadership

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ability to read and write in English
  • At least two years of warehouse experience
  • High School Diploma or GED

Job Requirements

  • Limited travel (less than 5%)
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to loud noise and moving equipment
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions, depending on seasonal weather and facility conditions

  • Ability to operate handheld warehouse scanning devices
  • Experience operating jib cranes and overhead cranes
  • Ability to safely lift up to 45 pounds
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to send, receive, and manage email communications with internal and external contacts
  • Experience operating Class II and Class IV forklifts, including order pickers, reach trucks, manlifts, and similar material-handling equipment
  • Ability to use office equipment such as copiers and scanners
  • Ability to safely use fall-protection equipment when required for elevated work
