Warehouse Associate, Refrigerated Environment

Pay: $19.00/hour
Assignment Length: Approximately 2 months
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM until work is completed
Shift Length: Approximately 10–12 hours
Overtime: Saturdays at 9:30 AM until work is completed, as needed

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associates for a fast-paced distribution environment. This is a physically active position involving lifting, walking, standing, palletizing, order fulfillment, repacking, relabeling, inventory activities, and general warehouse operations.

Candidates must be comfortable working 10–12 hour shifts and spending portions of the workday in a refrigerated environment maintained at approximately 24°F. Employees will rotate in and out of the cooler throughout the shift, and appropriate PPE will be provided.

This position requires the ability to lift 40–75 pounds, remain on your feet for extended periods, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform GMP-related services, including relabeling, repacking, product inspections, and aggregated serialization.

• Pick, pack, stock, replenish, and prepare customer orders for shipment.

• Perform down-stacking and palletizing of products.

• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to complete assigned tasks.

• Receive merchandise and verify products against receiving documentation.

• Identify and report product discrepancies or visible damage.

• Stock merchandise and properly rotate inventory.

• Pull products from warehouse shelves and place items into totes for order fulfillment.

• Process returns, perform data entry, and return merchandise to the appropriate warehouse locations.

• Assist with daily inventory counts and research inventory discrepancies.

• Support outbound shipping and other distribution center activities.

• Use warehouse tools, including Klever Cutters and tape guns.

• Perform daily cleaning and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow GMP requirements, warehouse procedures, safety standards, and applicable DEA regulations.

• Complete independent assignments while working effectively within a team environment.

• Participate in physical inventory activities as requested.

• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Lift and handle approximately 40–75 pounds.

• Work in a refrigerated environment of approximately 24°F for portions of the shift.

• Rotate in and out of the refrigerated area throughout the workday.

• Stand and walk for extended periods, including throughout a 10–12 hour shift.

• Frequently reach, bend, push, pull, lift, and palletize products.

• Push and maneuver rolling carts.

• Perform repetitive physical warehouse activities.

• Work overtime and Saturdays when required.

PPE for the refrigerated work environment will be provided by the site.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, order fulfillment, picking/packing, stocking, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.

• Ability to read and understand English to accurately compare product descriptions, names, labels, and warehouse documentation.

• Basic mathematical skills.

• Ability to use an RF scanner and learn warehouse management systems.

• Basic computer skills preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision.

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.

• Ability to work overtime based on operational needs.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, physically capable of performing demanding warehouse work, and comfortable working in cold temperatures. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced, highly physical position with long periods of standing and walking and regular lifting of up to 75 pounds.
