Description
Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and ensuring inventory accuracy. This role requires reliability, strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Job Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify contents against purchase orders.
Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
Perform regular inventory counts and assist with inventory audits.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
Forklift certification is a plus (optional)
Qualifications & Skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
Ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and computer skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Forklift certification (a plus)
Pay starts at $20/hr and may increase based on relevant industry experience and certifications.
