Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated individuals for a physically demanding role in Jessup, MD. This position involves the handling and processing of storage materials within a warehouse setting. Jessup is conveniently located in the heart of Maryland, offering a vibrant community and easy access to major cities like Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

  • Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes weighing from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs.
  • Process orders and handle boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
  • Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
  • Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
  • Load boxes onto pallets and trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

  • Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English.
  • Experience in using proprietary computer systems to track orders and determine box locations.
  • Competence in operating handheld scanners.
  • Ability to climb and balance on ladders.
  • Experience in loading, operating, and moving hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.
