Description
Overview
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and yard operations, including order fulfillment, inventory handling, shipping and receiving, and material movement. This is a physically active role that involves operating a sit-down forklift, loading and unloading materials, and working in both warehouse and outdoor environments.
This is a full-time temporary opportunity for candidates who are dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable performing hands-on warehouse work.
Responsibilities
Pull and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment
Palletize, wrap, and stage materials for delivery and distribution
Load flatbed trailers and unload LTL shipments
Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials safely and efficiently
Receive, verify, stock, and organize incoming inventory
Perform inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
Put away materials in designated storage locations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard environment
Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months of recent warehouse experience
Minimum of 6 months of recent sit-down forklift experience
Ability to read and understand order sheets and shipping documentation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, and stand throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work in both warehouse and outdoor environments
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, delivery support, or material handling
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse products and processes
Additional forklift or warehouse equipment experience
Experience with inventory management and stock organization
