    Description

    Position Summary

    As a Warehouse Associate at Swagelok Southeast Texas, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by supporting the full scope of warehouse operations. From order picking and packing to shipping, receiving, and inventory management, your attention to detail and commitment to quality help ensure customer confidence and operational excellence.     Key Responsibilities

    General Operations

    • Execute daily warehouse tasks including order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, shipping, and returns.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational flow.
    • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes as needed.
    • Propose and support process improvements.
    • Maintain professional, respectful communication in all interactions.
    • Demonstrate initiative and accountability in all assigned duties.
    • Maintain punctuality and adhere to allocated PTO

    Order Fulfillment

    • Pick and prepare orders accurately using scanning systems.
    • Follow work instructions and quality standards for packaging and labeling.
    • Handle tubing preparation (cutting, deburring, packaging) safely.
    • Report and document quality issues.
    Fulfillment Targets:
    • 98% on-time order delivery.
    • 1 picking error/month.
    • Maintain organized, clearly labeled bin locations.

    Shipping

    • Package, label, and ship orders per internal procedures.
    • Verify accuracy of parts and quantities before shipment.
    • Update shipment tracking and documentation in SAP and Docuware.
    • Assist Will Call customers when needed.
    Shipping Targets:
    • 98% on-time shipments.
    • 1 shipping error/month.
    • Document all shipments in Docuware within 24 hours
    • Generate invoices within 24 hours of shipment

    Receiving & Inventory

    • Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
    • Perform cycle counts daily; support 97%+ inventory accuracy.
    • Process non-conformances and returns promptly.
    • Receive and store materials within 24 hours (48 hours for tubing).
    • Maintain records and compliance logs (e.g., forklift checks, quarantine items).
    Receiving Targets:
    • 1 receiving issue/month.
    • Report non-conformances within 24 hours.
    • Maintain inventory integrity and location accuracy.

    Qualifications

    Education

    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Experience

    • 5+ years in warehouse operations preferred; education may substitute for experience.
    • Experience with small parts inventory and shipping platforms (FedEx, UPS).
    • Forklift certification preferred.
    • SAP and Swagelok product knowledge a plus.
