Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate role is responsible for demonstrating exceptional customer service and organizational skills on a regular basis. Master product knowledge and serve as a key team member as you unload trailers and organize product to maximize efficiency within the warehouse. This position is required to effectively manage and oversee receiving product, building orders, inventory maintenance, forklift operation, and warehouse cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading bagged feeds and related products to our customers, both commercial and private.

• Ability to safely operate a hand truck and a fork truck.

• Operate all equipment and vehicle in a safe manner and obey all safety rules.

• Receive and accurately load and rotate product.

• Maintain the warehouse and loading areas in a neat and orderly fashion.

• Report any safety concerns while performing essential duties.

• Other duties as assigned by Store Management.

Experience:

• Ability to lift 55 lbs. to a height of 50 inches.

• Demonstrate a consistent track record of employment.

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

• Effective communication.

• Understanding of feed products and willingness to learn and grow.
