Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

• Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming materials
• Pick and stage products and materials for shipment
• Pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Move materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment
• Accurately count, verify, and record inventory
• Use scanners and other warehouse technology to track products and inventory
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Follow established safety procedures and warehouse processes
• Meet productivity and quality expectations
• Work as part of a team to keep warehouse operations running efficiently
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing physical work throughout the shift
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer or scanner experience is a plus
• Forklift or other powered industrial truck experience is a plus
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Must be able to pass a background check and any required pre-employment screening

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to move throughout a manufacturing facility.

• Ability to read work documents and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers.

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses as applicable.

Schedule & Work Environment

This is an on-site position in a manufacturing facility in St. Pauls, NC. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Saturday work may occasionally be required, and overtime may be necessary based on operational needs
