Warehouse Associate

SummaryMechatronic Solutions is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations and customer order fulfillment. This role is responsible for receiving products, maintaining inventory accuracy, picking and packing customer orders, processing shipments, and supporting overall warehouse organization and safety.The ideal candidate enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy and organization, and understands that timely, accurate fulfillment plays an important role in delivering a strong customer experience.Essential ResponsibilitiesShipping and Order Fulfillment

Pick, verify, and pack customer orders accurately according to company and customer requirements.Process shipments using carrier software, shipping portals, labels, packing slips, and required documentation.Ensure orders are prepared and shipped on schedule while meeting company quality standards.Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, and other internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies or order questions.

Receiving and Inventory Management

Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, and product condition.Accurately enter receiving and shipping transactions into Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or the company ERP system.Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations and maintain clear product identification.Assist with inventory cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy research.

Warehouse Operations and Facility Support

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.Assist with stocking, labeling, organizing, relocating inventory, and general warehouse upkeep.Support continuous improvement efforts related to warehouse workflow, accuracy, and efficiency.Drive a company vehicle for occasional pick-up or delivery, if needed and properly authorized.Perform other warehouse, facility, and operational duties as assigned.

Safety and Compliance

Follow company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions at all times.Properly use required personal protective equipment and maintain awareness of safe material handling practices.Comply with company policies, quality expectations, and applicable shipping requirements.

QualificationsRequired

High school diploma or GED.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse work throughout the day.Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive work attitude.

Preferred

Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or another ERP system.Experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL, or similar carrier platforms.Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse accuracy practices.Familiarity with industrial, automation, electrical, mechanical, or technical products.

Physical Requirements

Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the workday.Regularly lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.Operate manual and powered material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, when trained and authorized.Perform repetitive motions associated with picking, packing, labeling, receiving, and material handling.Work in a warehouse environment with varying activity levels and occasional facility maintenance tasks.

Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
