Warehouse Manager
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager oversees warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, material movement, and production reporting within the organizations MRP environment. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, timely processing of work orders and transfer orders, and efficient coordination across warehouse, production, logistics, and planning teams.
The position also serves as a liaison between operations and IT by assisting with basic support for warehouse technology, including barcode scanners, tablets, handheld devices, and user access issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse, shipping, inventory, and material movement activities within the MRP system
- Monitor work orders, transfer orders, shipments, and inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and timely completion
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipment delays, and production reporting issues
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, logistics, transportation, and planning teams to support efficient operations
- Generate and review operational reports related to inventory, shipments, transfers, and production activity
- Identify process improvement opportunities related to inventory control, reporting accuracy, and warehouse operations
- Provide first-level support for warehouse technology issues and coordinate with IT for escalation and resolution
