Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist proficient in English, both verbal and written, to join our warehouse team. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing merchandise with precision and care while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Receive and check incoming merchandise with accuracy.
Pull merchandise for orders using pick tickets, ensuring accuracy in description, quantity, and size.
Pack orders and shrink wrap contents onto pallets for shipment.
Re-stock inventory manually or using warehouse equipment.
Load and unload trucks, including order pulling of physical merchandise such as cases, boxes, units, and pallets.
Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
Perform general warehouse duties as needed.
Essential Skills
Proficient in English verbal and written communication.
Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience.
Proven experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse position.
Experience or license in handling sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
Computer literacy.
Good physical strength and stamina.
Basic math skills for counting inventory.

Work Environment
The work environment involves handling a wide range of products including personal care items, confectionery, snacks, and beverages. Our direct relationship with manufacturers allows us to offer competitive prices. Our distribution extends to the cruise line and hospitality industries. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
