Warehouse Associate

Summary/Objective

Performs warehouse activities such as receiving of various equipment, parts, into the facility, movement of equipment within the facility and the picking and loading of packages being shipped out of the facility.

Duties and Essential Functions

• Ensuring that the warehouse is properly organized, clean and efficient.
• Building maintenance (small repairs).
• Manage material inventory.
• Conduct weekly and/or monthly material inventory.
• Verify Dash equipment’s accuracy.
• Assist with small vehicle repairs (stop lights, side mirrors, etc.)
• Change A/C filters on a monthly basis.
• Maintain parking lot cleanliness.
• Take trash bines out Monday & Thursday.
• Conduct weekly/monthly equipment inventory.
• Controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts.
• Reviewing and assigning paperwork for product/materials to be picked up.
• Controlling inventory of materials and provide production staff with everything needed.
• Maintains good physical condition of warehouse.
• Verify inventory levels using spreadsheet
• Program dumpsters
• Unload equipment from company trucks
• Pull material requested by crew chiefs from the shelves
• Enter equipment being loaded on trucks on the inventory software
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain company Vans clean and ready for Mold or water jobs. (applies to warehouse vans only).
• Write down when vehicles leave the building – entered on Vehicle Logs.
• Notify supervisor of any employee not following safety measure regarding PPE including Steel toe boots.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position reports to the Warehouse Manager

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work long hours, use equipment, ladders, go up and down stairs, etc. The employee will be required to carry up to 50+ pounds. The employee is frequently standing, walking, using hand and fingers to handle or feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to talk and listen and have great communication, listening, and teamwork skills, work in all types of weather and environments.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This position is a full-time position from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm including attending any after hour on c. The schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the company.

Travel

Travel may be required if assistance is needed during Hurricane Season or any Large Losses.

Required Education and Experience

· Proficient in the use of technology (Ex. Phones/Tablets)

· Bilingual
