Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting efficient warehouse operations by accurately pulling, preparing, staging, loading, and unloading orders; maintaining inventory accuracy through receiving, counting, organization, and replenishment activities; and ensuring a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pull and prepare orders
  • Safely load and unload delivery trucks
  • Organize and store materials in assigned locations
  • Inventory - count, organize, and maintain stock, inspect condition and quality, move and replenish as necessary
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
  • Sweep warehouse floors daily and as needed
  • Keep aisles clear of stock and debris
  • Assist drivers, counter personnel, and customers with loading and unloading
  • Follow company safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns promptly
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred, 2+ years a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Forklift certified
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, and handle materials throughout the workday.
  • Frequently required to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials, with or without assistance, in the normal course of warehouse operations.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and move heavier items (up to 350 lbs) with a hand cart of or other mechanical aids.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) safely.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and maintain productivity standards in a warehouse environment.
  • Vision, hearing, and communication abilities sufficient to perform job duties safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to dust, temperature variations, and noise typical of distribution operations.
