Warehouse Associate (Mid-Shift)

Schedule: Weekdays (Monday to Friday), 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch)

Dress Code: Pants and t-shirt; steel-toe shoes are required (PPE)

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for wire cutting and general warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, cutting, paralleling, and installing heads based on customer orders, as well as managing all wire cut lengths within the wire management system.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Select, pull, and cut appropriate lengths and types of wire based on customer orders.
• Verify the accuracy of wire cuts, log cuts, and manage wire lengths using the wire management system.
• Assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey them to the packing station and shipping department.
• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution and mark materials with identifying information to ensure company standards.
• Verify picked products, document discrepancies on an error log, and ensure correct products are re-picked.
• Operate material handling equipment safely, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and rider pallet jacks.

This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period, but these may become available upon conversion to a permanent role.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and material handling.
• Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and rider pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to measure, cut, and verify accurate inventory.
• Ability to follow production schedules, log cuts, and manage tasks independently.
