Position Description

JOB TITLE: Warehouse Associate

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: Market Manager

SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring that all shipments are preparedand delivered to the correct warehouses and jobsites; completing all paperwork and documentation to accurately track the shipments and all deliveries. The Warehouse Employee may take on the role of Project Technician under the supervision of Operations leadership, as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains open and accurate communication with field employees.
  • Clocks in and out for activities throughout the day in Pierson Wireless' project management cloud solution.
  • Follows safety policies for safe work.
  • Accepts and ships packages and other deliveries.
  • Maintains current stock levels in Pierson Wireless' project management cloud solution for materials and alerts the Purchaser and Administrators to low supply stocks.
  • Ensures that all materials required for the site are shipped and received within the scope of the timeline for the project.
  • Completes return materials orders and maintains tracking information on the replacements.
  • Interfaces with Pierson Wireless' Customers.
  • Properly documents work performed in Pierson Wireless' project management cloud solution.
  • Provides support to other team members and staff as needed.
  • Operates company provided equipment and vehicles in a safe manner and follow all local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
  • Submits receipts and expense records.
  • Abides by all policies and procedures as identified in the Pierson Wireless handbook.
  • Is cross-trained to lend support other Pierson Wireless staff and departments.
  • Performs other duties as required (i.e. cleaning, moving, fabrication, etc.).
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certificates, licenses and registrations required/preferred:
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • OSHA 10 hour certified (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Other skills required/preferred:
  • Relevant warehouse and logistics experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
  • Must be able to represent the company to external Customers.
  • Stable work history
