Job Title: Parts Warehouse Associate

Reports To: Parts Warehouse Manager

Scope: This position will support the operations and sales functions of the Parts Warehouse.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Fulfill and ship customers parts requirements in order to obtain and maintain maximum customer satisfaction • Receive incoming stock or transfer parts, ensuring accuracy, packing slip, and inventory • Maintain a neat and clean appearance in the customer parts area and parts warehouse • Receive items by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, unpacking containers • Verify items received by inspecting the condition of items, comparing count, measure of items to purchase order, and packing list, noting discrepancies • Document items received by recording identifying information • Fill orders by studying requests, locating, and retrieving items • Replace damaged items and shortages or obtains credit by informing shipper and transporter of damage or shortage, returning damaged items, requesting new items or credit for shortages • Receive credit-return materials from production by verifying identifying information and quantity of materials, placing materials in inventory • Prepare shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers • Ship items by verifying identifying information and quantity and condition of items, loading, and protecting items • Document items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information • Maintain shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed materials, placing, and expediting orders for materials, verifying receipt of materials • Maintain parts and supplies inventory by receiving, inspecting, and verifying items, identifying and storing items, recording location, reordering items • Maintain parts and supplies database by inputting additions, deletions, and corrections • Verify inventory by conducting physical counts • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Forklift certification is a plus but not required • High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills:

• Reporting organization communication & teamwork skills • Must have the ability to analyze information, deal with complex issues, and meet deadlines • Inventory control and data entry skills

Physical Demands:

• Ability to move items weighing at least 90 pounds • The person in this position needs to move constantly for extended periods of time (80-100% of shift) • Ability to work indoors for extended periods of time
