Warehouse Associate

A retail and distribution company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join the team. The company supplies and delivers products to customers from Pensacola, Florida to Brownsville, Texas, and ships worldwide as needed. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, checking, and preparing deliveries and orders to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.

Salary: $18/hr
Location: New Caney, TX 77357
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accepting and checking all deliveries to the facility for damages and matching items with their related packing lists.
• Responsible for accurately checking and tagging orders for the delivery drivers.
• Must follow all safety guidelines in place by the company and warehouse manager.

Requirements:

• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Have a valid driver's license with no suspensions or holds
• Must be able to lift heavy packages, at least 50 lbs
• Must be able to spend long portions of the day on their feet. Material is constantly shipped in and out of the facility, and the workers spend most of the day being mobile
