Description
Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a warehouse associate position at a company in New Milford, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The warehouse associate is primarily responsible for working in the warehouse and moving products.
The hours are 8:15 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $17.50-$18 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Pick products from shelf locations (check product code, size, Qty and lot/batch against packout request for production techs)
Keep shelves neat and orderly
Pull drums and bulk pails and deliver them to the production department for repacking
Stock shelves with finished products from production department
Perform general warehouse maintenance, including cleaning/sweeping
All other duties and projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Warehouse and material handling experience preferred
Comfortable working with chemicals
Familiarity with DOT 49CFR guidelines is beneficial
Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting, lifting products overhead during loading and unloading, carrying freight, and pushing and/or pulling weights on pallet jacks or drum dolly up to and in excess 450 pounds
